Amir Shapourzadeh Returns to Germany, Joins Hansa Rostock

Former SC Paderborn 07 midfielder Amir Shapourzadeh has completed a move to 1. FC Kaiserslautern, leaving F.C. Hansa Rostock after just one season.
Shapourzadeh, who made 18 appearances for Rostock, was a key figure in their promotion to the 2. Bundesliga last season, but he has struggled to replicate that form this season, starting just seven games.
The 29-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Kaiserslautern and will be hoping to make an immediate impact for his new club, who are currently 13th in the 3.Liga table.
Shapourzadeh's departure is a blow to Rostock, who are currently battling relegation, but they will be hoping that his replacement, Ben Zolinski, can fill the void.
Zolinski, who has been capped by Germany at youth level, has joined Rostock on loan from Borussia Dortmund and will be hoping to impress during his time at the club.
The 20-year-old has made just one appearance for Dortmund's first team, but he has been a regular for their reserve side, scoring five goals in 20 appearances this season.
Zolinski is a versatile player who can play either as a central midfielder or a winger, and his arrival will give Rostock manager Jens Härtel more options in attack.
